GFT RETAIL IS DISTRIBUTING SNACT PRODUCTS

GFT Retail now handles the distribution of the Snact brand. The jerky products are now available for delivery. Delivery of bars is yet to be confirmed but are expected to be available very soon.

Snact is on a mission to create more taste, less waste by producing delicious snacks that are fighting food waste and plastic!

Snact creates these tasty, convenient snacks using wonky fruit that would otherwise be thrown away. Both the banana bars and the fruit jerky are packed with all the nutrition of flawless fruit. All Snact products are wrapped in home compostable packaging, reducing waste.

All products are vegan and gluten free. You will never find added sugars, colours, flavours or preservatives in Snact’s products. Made in the UK.

What is Wonky Fruit?

Wonky Fruit is any fruit that doesn’t meet the aesthetic requirements of the supermarkets.

4.4 million apples go to waste every day in the UK. We are helping reduce this number by using these ‘wonky’ apples in our Fruit Jerky.

With 2 million tonnes of fresh fruit and veg being wasted in the UK every year, it’s time we all join the #deliciousprotest and reduce this waste.

Compostable Packaging

Snact was the first company in the UK to use home compostable packaging, allowing us to tackle packaging waste as well as food waste. We use innovative film that is just as durable and impermeable as ordinary plastic packaging but it behaves like fruit peel & returns to the natural cycle in just 6 months.

The packaging can be recycled as well as breaking down into compost, which can then be used as fertiliser. It can be put into normal bins and will breakdown in just a few months.
